I missed Bruce's reply before I sent my initial response, but my response to this and his reply is: error dialogs should only come up when there is an error, and usually (guessing here) a nil content parameter isn't considered an error. An error is when a parameter is a wrong type, there was an internal error in the method, . . . well, you get the idea. And as well, it certainly isn't mentioned in the docs that I can see. I'm sure that people more experienced in programming languages than me will chime in here (of course I include Bruce here) and I am more than open to correction. There's also the issue: do other function calls generate errors when the parameter is empty/zero? If so, I need to start writing wrappers now. . . -------------------------------- Owen Watson Wellington, New Zealand ------------------------ Yahoo!
