I realized I haven't tested this in Explorer, only did on my
file manager 'Total Commander', where PP's context menu of
(the target of) the .lnk file doesn't show up.
Although the above one is still strange to me, however, I
observed very odd ones in the Explorer:

PP's context menu for (the target of) the .lnk file
1) 'does not show up' if using single pane view of explorer
2) 'does show up' if using double pane view of explorer

Which pane view did you use while testing?
What about in your case, Alex?
