OK. I think I get your point. I am unusually "patient and resourceful," but other users aren't. For those people, it's going to be harder. Surely they aren't all going to call me to find out how to work the program! If for no other reason than to keep them from taking one look then turning helplessly away in confusion, this needs to be on the website. How about a tutorial for rank beginners?
