That's against my expectation. I thought you'd be on XP Home. Maybe it's because of bblean as David pointed out that I don't really know. > in a folder on my desktop i have a file > C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\pi\Desktop\qm_shortcuts\firefox_freeze.lnk > > in my context commandlist entry 'copy path' i have a > simple win.debug(_file_) . > debug result is the exe of the shortcut and not the .lnk path. The following could be of help that I can't tell for sure: -------------------------------------------------------------- Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile\Shell\PowerPro] @="Cop&y Path..." [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile\Shell\PowerPro\Command] @="C:\\PProPath\\PowerPro.exe *Script SetString _file_ %1" ;@="C:\\PProPath\\PowerPro.exe *Clip Text %1" -------------------------------------------------------------- You have to replace PProPath with the real path to PP in your system, and you may have to enclose it with quotes if it contains space as follows: @="\"C:\\PProPath\\PowerPro.exe\" *Clip Text %1" The first one may set the global variable _file_ to the path of the lnkfile, and the second one may copy the path to the clipboard. Of course you may use other built-in cmds. Sean Attention: PowerPro's Web site has moved: http://www.ppro.org Yahoo!
