I had the same problem a while ago. Subsequently, I noticed that the F12
hotkey was running on one of the two computers I have PowerPro on. I tried
copying the C:\Program Files\PowerPro\ sub-tree from the computer where it
worked to the one where it wasn't working.

I now am able to use the F12 hotkey on both computers! Even better,
configure>keys>setup>"recognize hot keys when console window active" is
clear AND the F12 hotkey also works when I have a DOS window at the top!
