And I have not even looked for anything else yet.
This is all probably quite simple for some. But I have been using computers for
almost 20 years. Have been writing macros in various languages, DOS batchfiles
and Autolisp much of that time,(no real programming except a brief fling with
Pascal 15-20 years ago and a little basic.) I am not a genius but I'm not a
newbie, either. I have followed this group for several years, and I am stumped.
I dread recreating my old scripts. When I look at the scripts the regulars
throw around here I am in awe. But I can't make heads or tails out of them. At
least I could figure out what was happening, somewhat, in the old days. I guess
I will just have to join the beginners' group and start over.
Forgive me if I seem whiny and puerile, but this has been building in me for
months now as I watched my beloved drifting away from me and I just had to get
it out.
Thank you for your time and effort.
Mega Kudos to Bruce for his beautiful 'hobby'.
