Just to test it out, I added it to my script, and the result was that
the script went haywire. It appended and appended and appended stuff
in some kind of feedback loop. Scary!
I also tested with a text between the brackets and it gave the
expected result, i.e. that the text was appended to the clipped text.
Now I have to use my new knowledge to integrate this with abbrev
expansions & Co in cool ways... :)
