Thanks for testing. This eventually happened to me too. I've uploaded a fix. I've also changed the internal design so that if pprotray hangs, it won't hang explorer. This version is in http://powerpro.webeddie.com/download/powerprotray.zip (Thanks to Don for noticing my wrong URL the first time). The fixed version also can produce a debug log, so if you get errors again, can I ask you to retry with the debug option turned on. To turn on the debug log, put an asterisk on the pprotray command line, eg c:\progra~1\powerpro\pprotray.exe * This will create a pprotray.log file in your powerpro folder which I would appreciate you uploading if errors occur again. I am repeating the intall instructions from the first note: 1. Reconfigure PowerPro so that it is not using tray icons on active bars. 2. Remove tray icon support from registry (likely installed manually if you are using XP or W2K). 3. Reboot your system and shutdown PowerPro if it starts at boot. 4. Download the following into your PowerPro folder http://powerpro.webeddie.com/download/powerprotray.zip 5. Take backup copies of your current powerpro.exe, pprotray.exe, and pprotray.dll (eg just copy the files using explorer). 6. Unzip powerprotray.zip which should give you new versions of these three programs. 7. Start Pprotray.exe by double clicking in explorer. 8. Reconfigure powerpro to put tray icons on active bars. 9. Start PowerPro. Try starting program which display tray icons to ensure your system is stable and active icons appear. 10. If all seems well, re-install tray support and reboot.
