An exorcist? A shaman? =|:-0 Actually, you could begin with some of the tools on the Sysinternals web site http://www.sysinternals.com/. Try Process Explorer and Pmon to start, and maybe you'll see what's happening. You might want to look at the Windows Events log, too. Jim K.
