Thanks. In documentation stays that "dim or darken the entire screen while still allowing user interaction" - so this behaviour surprise me a little. > A slow fade might be a nice effect but I don't think it's possible > using miscplugin.dim() -- unless the plugin is changed. so it would seem... > Maybe there is a screen saver which does a gradual dim? > I've never looked for freeware screen savers on the www > but there must be many. Yes. I try to use PowerPro first. I found great free 3kb in size application to do this: http://www.whitsoftdev.com/powerdimmer/ (the only minor [design] disadvantage is that this screensaver takes focus from active app.) PS btw I try dim screen without using miscplugin.dim() and try use for this changing transparency of black-colored bar covering whole screen with topmost attribute,... but unfortunately bars needs to be closed and the shown to update its transparency, so it's bevales like misc plugin would be. Of course after using PowerDimmer this bar's behaviour is unimportant. Attention: PowerPro's Web site has moved: http://www.ppro.org Yahoo!
