You can try use Post/SendMessage command to communicate with TotalCommander.

Probably you can pass parameteres (arguments like file path) to this
commands too.
If you do some operations on files from Context[Folder] menu[s] then
probably you can find useful my (very) little script to refreshing TC
file panel view (Ctrl+R), but by using PostMesage command - not *Keys.
