I was not aware that keyboards could do this. Its pretty easy, I
think, to add scan codes with a specified vkcode to PowerPro hot
keys. (The vkcode must be consistent when you press the key,
although may keys code share the vkcode. It seems Logitech uses 255
for this.)

I've uploaded
http://powerpro.webeddie.com/download/PowerProScan.zip
which contains both a PowerPro exe and PProconf.exe. These will not
do scan code hot keys, but they do contain a test to make sure I
have the correct understanding of how the scan codes work.

My test keyboard only has one key that does not have a unique vkey,
so I cannot test properly myself. If someone wants to try:

Shutdown PowerPro, rename powerpro.exe to powerpro.exebak and
pproconf.exe to pproconf.exebak. Then download and unzip above into
PowerPro folder.

Run pproconf.exe and go to enter hot key info. Tab to the "Type
key" edit box so that typing a key causes PowerPro to show the
virtual key and scan code and extended setting for that key. Does
it work for the keys on your keyboard?

Now run PowerPro.exe and execute the command
exec.tracekey
(must use . form). Each key process should generate a debug message
showing virtual key and scan can and ext flag. Are these correct?
Are there any keys shown here that configuration dialog does not
pick up?

Thanks for any help.
