Thanks so much for helping me get the kinks out of my script.

It's very helpful and it will save me time. I press a button and in a
few seconds I have established a dial-up connection to the Internet
and have my utilities, browser and e-mail client up. When I'm done, I
press the button again and programs are closed and the modem is
disconnected.

The button on my keyboard has been reassigned to open the script file.
The script dials the connectoid (using a "hidden" XP program), and
starts waiting for the last utility's window to show up to run the
browser and the e-mail client. The utilities are run by a utility
when there is a connection and closed when the connection is
disconnected.

To disconnect and close down my on-line setup, I press the button
again which runs the same script which checks for (modem) closes down
the e-mail client and browser. The utilities are closed when the
connection is disconnected.

Even though there aren't very many lines in the script, I think it's
the most complex PowerPro script I've ever done.
