Thanks Alan, now I have this:
oldstring = clip.get
newstring = replacechars(oldstring,"-","{right}")
clip.set(newstring)
clip.paste
Quite simple but the problem is (among others) that cannot emulate
{right} or {tab} keys when pasting from clipboard.
