I'm not using the restore icon position function. Anyway, I don't
know that PowerPro causes the problem but a couple of times I
couldn't reset the monitor/desktop configuration after a reboot
without preventing PowerPro from starting at logon.

Yes, it does relate to multiple monitors. It's the position of a
secondary monitor relative to the primary monitor.
