Based on your description, it sounds like macros would do exactly what you want. Check out the PP Help on the "*Macro Command" page for details. It's a little opposite of what you have described. Instead of typing the command, then the Hot key, you would press the hot key, then type the command. Paul

I've been using PPro since the Stiletto days (and paid for it!) so it's a big part of my life. Recently I found something interesting, which is ActiveWords. In ActiveWords you type something, hit a key and an action is taken dependent on the contents of the test. Thus if I type "edan" it can open an email message addressed to home email address. Can anybody think of a way to get PPro to do this? ActiveWords is getting rave reviews and I'm still playing with it. Would be nice if PPro could do this too, maybe with macros etc. Dan Attention: PowerPro's Web site has moved: http://www.ppro.org <http://www.ppro.org> SPONSORED LINKS Computer <http://groups.yahoo.com/gads?t=ms&k=Computer+monitoring+software&w1=Compute r+monitoring+software&w2=Power+pro&w3=Computer+and+internet+software&w4=Free +computer+monitoring+software&c=4&s=124&.sig=gAULAbVIo6U142SVtzOxyw> monitoring software Power <http://groups.yahoo.com/gads?t=ms&k=Power+pro&w1=Computer+monitoring+softwa re&w2=Power+pro&w3=Computer+and+internet+software&w4=Free+computer+monitorin g+software&c=4&s=124&.sig=C7YSwXYo_UCpIW9CZbVUtg> pro Computer <http://groups.yahoo.com/gads?t=ms&k=Computer+and+internet+software&w1=Compu ter+monitoring+software&w2=Power+pro&w3=Computer+and+internet+software&w4=Fr ee+computer+monitoring+software&c=4&s=124&.sig=tTenaFByN5TNVJBpxKKdKQ> and internet software Free <http://groups.yahoo.com/gads?t=ms&k=Free+computer+monitoring+software&w1=Co mputer+monitoring+software&w2=Power+pro&w3=Computer+and+internet+software&w4 =Free+computer+monitoring+software&c=4&s=124&.sig=jgHAAIH_EySXev_Uzn1lqw> computer monitoring software _____ YAHOO!
