The exact string is:

<=start=>
*Keys {to folder}{filemenu favfolder\common.txt;favfolder\_any.txt}
<=stop=>

common.txt contents:

<=start=>
Properties back 255 255 255 text 0 0 0
Properties fontname fontsize 10
@"  E:\__&aatemp\" E:\__aatemp\
sep
@"  &Home (d:\_personal\)" d:\_personal\
@"  D:\_personal\docu&ments\" D:\_personal\documents\
@"  D:\_personal\_pro&jects\" D:\_personal\_projects\
@"  D:\_personal\_projects\Software\&IFace\"
d:\_personal\_projects\Software\IFace\
sep
startsubmenu  .. &Network
@"  \\Aesopus\&COMMONDIR\" \\Aesopus\COMMONDIR\
endsubmenu
sep
@"  [ &FAVORITES ]" d:\_personal\Favorites
@"  [ &PROGRAM FILES ]" %programfiles%
@"  [ &SYSTEM32 ]" %windir%\system32
@"  [ &USERPROFILE ]" %userprofile%
@"  [ &WINDOWS ]" %windir%
<=stop=>

Current _any.txt contents:

<=start=>
E:\__aatemp
D:\_personal\documents
\\Aesopus\0-tananima.tan
E:\mp3 collections\Party\Dapa dupa
C:\Program Files\PowerPro\scripts
D:\_personal\_projects\Software\IFace\_private\configurations and
addons\Eac profiles
C:\Program Files\Lame
F:\download__cache
E:\__aatemp\next
<=stop=>

What i realised is that entries in _any.txt work properly while all
entries in common.txt always produce the error message.

To be honest, I don't remember changing anything in those files for
quite some time. So the text files should be ok. I was playing with
powerpro options the other day, could any setup option cause such an
error? :/

The message is:

(eg)
<=start=>
Folder not accessible
C:\WINDOWS
<=stop=>
