In the tests I try, the icon is not cut off, but the top is right at the top of the bar, which is not very attractive. But I don't plan to try to change for now, as there is too much chance of breaking something else. You can get more control over by using the "top edge (current size)" position instead, after having set up the bar look and size with the bar using the floating position. For example: - command list|set up|all bars" check so that ctrl-drag needed to move floating bar - command list|properties for your bar|bars tab - set floating position - uncheck bar size from sum of buttons - check 3d border - set button height to (say) 4 pixels larger than your icon size OK out of configuration, drag size and position of bar as desired - command list|properties for your bar|bars tab - set position "top edge, current size" - uncheck 3d - press apply - maximize a window - if gap beteen bar and maxxed window, you can narrow with a small negative number in vertical offset OK out of configuration.
