I don't think window command will attempt to show all hidden windows
as there are many hidden windows on the system that you would not
want to show and window command has no way of knowing which ones
were the ones you explicitly hid.
The Desktop HideShowWindows command may do what you want (it keeps a
list of windows it hid), or if you want more control you can write a
script to capture the list of windows which are to be hidden (with
win.handlelist("*")) or show them if the list is empty.
