Medium term: I'll be adding incoming-message handling to the dll plugin, and probably port-level connect/listen/send/receive services to net plugin. Shorter term: winLirc source code is apparently frozen, having not been altered since 2002-07-13. So, it would be a simle matter to strip out the bits of winLirc that communicate via a port (which is a bit insecure anyway) and replace them with direct communication with powerpro. So to either get signals from IR devices or send IR signals emulating IR devices, you just set up some config info for ppWinLirc, and run it. But: I have no IR capability on my machine, so won;t do this unless there's someone who has IR hardware (ideally in and out) and is willing to test the modified winLirc. Let me know.
