I looked again and maybe there is a way.  I can open a file for 
writing which will also allow subsequent read accesses.  Not sure if 
there will make a difference, since file is openned and close fairly 
quickly by writeall.  I uploaded a file.dll to webeddie folder -- let 
me know if it makes any diffence.
