Yes! Deleting powerpro.gid file has fixed it.
I thought it was a fault in the .hlp in the 4.4.08 distro.
I just spent a few hours checking the .rtf source (which Bruce sent me)
for structural errors, and was very puzzled when I couldn't find any
- didn't think it could be caused by my old .gid file.
Red face here :)
I'll just edit some links from the "New for this release" topic,
so they point to "Functions by category" instead of "Expressions"
and send it back.

Thanks for that offer David. Bruce has already sent the help source files
here in a zip attachment which was only 320k.
I remember the reason we used your ftp site previously was because
it looked like a third person might join in, so it was good to
have a common store. This time email is OK.
