My macro character is ":", or as in the config window "shift ;"

When I try to invoke a macro, nothing happens. I have "Albuquerque"
triggered by "abq". When I try to trigger the macro, all I get is
":abq". This is true for all my macros. Some of my macros trigger the
*Keys command and others are pulled from a .snippets script. All use
to work and now none do.
