Hi sgp,
Thank you for the word lists you uploaded.
> I found many missing items.
Of about 290 items which are in your list and not in mine:
-- about 40 are valid and documented and have now been added to my lists.
-- most are Action words, without the Command and dot in front.
I had already included them in my command.action pairs
but I do not include any action words on their own.
-- the following are undocumented but seem to be valid when
tested, so I have added them to my lists:
exec.bitandor - got no error message, but what does it do?
win.getid - returns a number, what is it? what args does it want?
win.lastmouse - you are correct and win.txt is wrong: win.getlastmouse
win.match - what does it do? Error says "needs two arguments"
win.setpreviousfocus - not documented but seems to work sometimes
-- I think these are wrong words in your list sgp,
so I suggest you delete them:
bitandor - only valid with exec. in front I think (??)
clip.clearclip - should be clip.clear (the plugin service)
or clip.clearclipboard (the command)
Help is wrong: clip.clearclip causes an error message
configure.importkeys ??? I think it should be importhot
exec.plugin -- old, no longer accepted
ifx - old, still works but help recommends do not use
onscriptdebug - I think it is only the name of a special
command list, not a command or function
timerunning - typo should be timerrunning (two r's)
trayicon.leftclick - should be trayicon.left
trayicon.middleclick - should be trayicon.middle
trayicon.rightclick - should be trayicon.right
[Most places in Help say trayicon.left
Some places in Help say trayicon.leftclick
but that got an error message when I tested it.
Pproconf's Action dropdown shows the correct list.]
unixdate - Help is wrong, it should be unixtime
win. - not valid without a service
win.detdebug - error, no such service
win.handleatpoint - error, should be win.handlefrompoint
win.post10000 - error: should be win.setpos10000
-- some wrong words were in both your list and mine,
such as trayicon.leftclick (should be trayicon.left),
so I have removed them from my latest lists.
I probably missed something but at least my lists are now
much closer to being correct.
It was good to do it that way (once only) including checking
hundreds of words from old syntax lists.
Now that I have added all the useful words from the old lists
into my lists, next time please provide a list of only the
missing words which fit these guidelines:
In future my syntax lists will include these groups:
All "distro plugins", as plugin.service
Some "other plugins", adding any requested plugins in future
Built in commands as command.action and Command (alone)
but not any Action words alone.
Built in functions
Operators
Not any "parameter keywords" such as "active" "@bottomleft"
or "maxtext" (which are always in quotes in the new syntax).
Not any Info labels keywords (not valid in scripts)
Not any Format commands (not valid in scripts)
Not the {codes} for Keys
Not any command Action words
(I have listed them all in command.action form)
If I set those limits, I am more likely to keep the
lists up to date with syntax changes and new words,
with (hopefully) each of the useful categories complete
and no incomplete categories.
Thanks for your contributions sgp
