I've noticed that also, but I seem to recall PP having trouble with Cmd
boxes anyway.  I don't see this behavior with any other like bars I have.

That's not really a glitch, it's a feature ;).  Basically what I was doing
was to send the keystrokes that would run the system menu (upper left icon
menu) to select Edit, then either copy, paste, or mark.  Depending on how
fast things are moving, you may or may not see the menu flash.

Did you replace the entire string in the Command edit box with the y and m?
I only meant you should replace the last character, leaving the Keys and the
%[space] intact .

I liked it so much, I kept the resulting bar.  I exported it, and pasted
below, if you want to try again.  I use XP, but I can't imagine the
keystrokes are different, although you never know.  And I've replaced the
text in my example with icons.
