Strangely I experienced exactly the opposite: problems with the previous builds, which were introduced fairly recently btw, are gone now with 4.5.3 1) right-click a certain button in the bar crashed PP 2) bring-up context menu by pressing apps key and invoke the PP's item in my file manager crashed PP More details: both commands were triggering scripts. 1) buttons with 'not' triggering scripts were OK. Actually all they show some windows, like, *Menu, *Bar, *Vdesk etc. And left-click of the problematic button worked OK too, whose command was also script trigger, however, it contains configure.importCL() which reimport the bar's CL (:yes, this bar is imported one) 2) after restart PP, this problem gone from then on until reboot. In retrospect, these seem to have been related with the change of routine of giving back focus to the previous window, especially with 1) (:I always use Window's built-in X-Mouse feature and my bar has transparent background). So, the following improvement may be the cure of my problems: - improved ability of PowerPro to avoid locking up if another window freezes and added option to advanced|setup|limits to control abort time . let me know if this causes strange things on active bar (its seems ok in my tests so far) I suggest the users who are currently experiencing problems to try the usual trick of updating the PCF file by: pproconf -> Setup -> Advanced setup -> Limits Then, close it by pressing OK -> OK. I don't know if it'll do any real change to .pcf, no harm either anyway. Sean Attention: PowerPro's Web site has moved: http://www.ppro.org Yahoo!
