I've got an information-bar visible at the top of the screen, which displays among others "free physical memory" and "cpuusage". CpuUsage is determined in commandlist "monitor", where i also switch the color of the according button depending on the value of CpuUsage. I happened to notice a few days ago, that when i move any floating bar manually via ctrl+left mouse, that there are some discontinuities in the movement. I wondered about that and found out that it's caused by GetSystemPerformanceData.Get_CPU_Usage. If i deactivate this plugin- service, the movment is continious. Now i fear, that this plugin-service is degrading the performance of my maschine.
Questions: Is this a normal behaviour ? Can anybody confirm this behaviour ? Does it depend on the processor-speed (1GHz-Pentium-III here) ? Is there another way to get CpuUsage without those discontinuties ? regards dele ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Great things are happening at Yahoo! Groups.
