Huh, I didn't realize that, I haven't started powerpro from my USB key since 
the last update.

I wonder if Bruce would go back to the way it was, or add a configuration 
option to bypass those checks.

However, my trouble with a configuration option in the pcf is that I would need 
to maintain a different pcf 
for usb and hdd. That's not my preferred way, as at the moment I've managed to 
keep just one pcf for usb, 
and hdd on all my systems.
