Hm, this new beta is performing the same on my PC as the other .05 beta's that have had the performance problems. With this beta, I was using QuickPar to verify a number of par2 files. Using this beta, during this process, PowerPro would not display my bar. Using v4.5 RC1, it does display the bar.
