Hi Bruce,

Here's step by step what I've done:

(with my pcf)

- Opened PProConf a few times and clicked OK, no message yet.

- Opened PProConf a few times and clicked ESC, no message yet.

- Let PP crash with win.crash with my pcf. Opened PProConf and checked
value: still 300. PowerPro was not running yet.

- Clicked OK on the modal dialog (i.e. PProConf still open):
"***Delay 0 on ok". It popped up once more after clicking OK.

- Changed the value back to 300, and clicked OK until I left PProConf.
No message yet.

(with empty.pcf)

- With PP still not running, I've dragged and dropped empty.pcf on
PProConf. Message: "0 on pconf read", clicked OK, "***Delay 0 at read".
I guess this was expected.

- PProconf is now opened. As soon as I've changed the tab to CommandLists,
the message "***Delay 0 on OK". Changed the tab back, the same message.

- Changed the value to 300, clicked OK until I left PProConf. No error.

- Dragged empty.pcf on PProConf again, no error. Clicked OK and left.

- Opened PProConf, 300 is still there. Pressed ESC to leave the modal
dialog and the message "***Delay 0 on ok" comes up 2 times.

- Changed the value back to 300 and clicked OK until I left PProConf.

- Launched PP with empty.pcf. Opened PProConf again, added a new bar with
a "win.crash" button. The value is still there.

- Let PP crash once. Dragged empty.pcf once more on PProConf. 300 is
still there. Clicked OK until I left PProConf. Actually I've anticipated
a reset here. That is, after a crash the value is reset in my pcf but not
in empty.pcf.

- Double-checked the last step: let PP crash and opened PProConf. No reset.

- Double-checked leaving the dialog with ESC. Reset everytime!

- Reverted back to my pcf. Confirmed that 300 was still there. Let PP crash
once more. Opened PProConf. 300 is still there. That is, the value is reset
only once, after the very first crash, not again.

- Doublechecked the last step. No reset.

- Checked if pressing ESC (or equivalently "Cancel") on Advanced Setup resets
the value even if I don't switch to Limits tab. Yes, the value gets reset.
I always get 2 messages here.

To sum it up, the only reliable to get the value reset is cancelling the
dialog. I've tried to get it reset by crashing PP a few times, with no luck
after the 1st crash. Using empty.pcf or my pcf doesn't change anything much.

I've not tested the Vdesk-setting nor the Reattach thing so extensively, but
I'll inform you if it happens with this version.

HTH,
Cüneyt
