I've beenc omparing the look of PowerPro pixel blending into background with the program Mockey suggested as a sample.
The images from 4.5.08 seem muddy and darker than that sample program. I have come to the conclusion that this may be because I am applying pre-alpha multiplication twice to the image, due to the way I build up the total image by drawing the background, button, and text and icons to an initially zero memory bitmap. (It looks bad regardless of the Compositing mode I use in building the image) If anyone is interested in this issue, I have uploaded an exe only to the WebEddie folder; it is version PowerPro 4.5.08a. To me, its pixel- blended images seem the same as the sample program mentioned above. Anyone else have a perference between the two?
