I know if you minimize the other windows they don't get tiled. Probably easiest to minimize all, un-minimize the ones you want to tile, then call the tile command. Should work as long as you know ahead of time which two (or whatever #) windows you'll want to tile. I usually do that manually, but I think I will add it to a script.
