Hi,

Having found no way within Windows itself to disable or hide the
'local area connection - a network cable is unplugged' icon whenever I
switch off my DSL modem, I have tried to do it via PowerPro. I setup
(in the HookWindowEvents list) a TrayIcon command. I selected Hide,
then clicked on the tray icon. PowerPro detected the icon and
simulated a right click as a test (which worked). It then prompted me
for a name - so I typed in LocalAreaConnection3 (the name of the icon
when you tooltip over it). I clicked Ok and then applied it. The icon
disappeared. All working well so far. However, as soon as I reboot,
the icon reappears and I have to go and add another TrayIcon command
in PowerPro. Does anyone know how to get rid of this icon permanently?
Before trying PowerPro, I tried using the 'Hide Inactive Icons' option
in Windows - but even though I have 'always hide' selected, Windows
just ignores that and always shows this icon.
