What are you trying to do?
If you create a button on one of your bars that has as the command for that
button the following value:
win.debug(formatdate("dMMM yy",date))
you'll get a PowerPro debug window with today's date in European format.
For help in creating bar buttons, see the PowerPro help page "Bars and the
*Bar command" and "Command Lists dialog". For help on the formatdate
command specifically, see the help page "Formatdate() and formattime()".
If you could describe your desired goal, then help can be more targeted.
This is an almost unlimited number of things for which one could want/need a
date.
