Ok - here are a couple of ways to do it. Both are from the Command List
Edit item dialog box. Depending on how you're calling your *Keys macro, you
might need to add in some of the {codes} listed in the help in order to make
sure the right window gets the keys (see help page "*keys codes for
keystrokes").
Where I say to put in a value into an edit box, I've surrounded the value by
pipes ("|") since double quotes are part of the command. Put in the text
between the pipes, and do not include the pipes. In case of Yahoo word
wrap, everything between the pipes should be one line.
Method #1.
1) In the Enter Command drop down box, select "*Keys" from the drop down
2) In the Enter Keys to send edit box, put in |&(formatdate("d MMM yy",
date))|
Method #2
1) In the Enter Command drop down box, put in |do(|
2) In the Command Parameters edit box, put in |"*Keys", formatdate("d MMM
yy", date))|
3) Note : If you enter this as one value in the Enter Command Drop down, I
think PowerPro will split it for you. As a single string, it would be :
|do("*Keys", formatdate("d MMM yy", date))|
The & symbol has fallen out of favor, hence method #2. You could also leave
the two edit boxes I listed empty, and enter the string as one command in
the More Commands edit box.
