Just a tip about how to better use file.volume with info labels.
One of my bars shows an info label with a list of drives and their volume
names. The bar and powerpro seemingly freeze from time to time. I found
out that it happens because Windows blocks waiting for a disconnected
network drive.
To account for this case I now use the dll plugin to find remote drives:

This suffices my needs, though ideally one should test for a disconnected
drive (NET USE can show that information) but I don't know which API to
call.
