Hi Bruce, I realize this is very much a long shot, but just wondered if you had ever looked at all at pcredemo.c (and pcretest.c)?
I note that both AutoIt <http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33323> and AutoHotkey recently took the plunge and were able to quickly incorporate pcre without using external dlls or plugins. Regards, Sheri
