Its completely separate code. I don't think I changed alarms for 4.7 and it works fine when I try it. Check settings on scheduler setup. Make sure "alarm sound for *Message" and "alarm can take focus" are checked. If this does not help, you possibly can work around by checking "on top" for the alarm and by manually specifying sound file (as first command).
