Hmmm, I have Avast installed too but disabling it did not solve my problem. I may try to remove it later. The solution in that thread did not work in my case. I tried the following line: Event.Create(10, 1, "MouseTrap.Enable(1, 0, 1)") but it does not work either (beeps continue). :(
