Correct. Try seeing if wm_copydata can be made to do what you want. You'd have to have hidden window in your plugin that other processes would communicate with using wm_copydata (and vice versa). Of course, you cannot send addresses to another process (e.g. result of getvaraddr is only meaningful to plugin running in powerpro process space).
