This works for me. You will need .reg files for the devices you want to switch between. Here are mine. You can get the idea from these and do your own. You will need to look at the existing registry keys to find out what the text should be for your devices. Sound Mapper Extigy.reg REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Multimedia\Sound Mapper] "Playback"="Creative SB Extigy" "PreferredOnly"=dword:00000000 "Record"="Audio Advantage Amigo Device" Sound Mapper Realtek.reg REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Multimedia\Sound Mapper] "Playback"="Realtek AC97 Audio" "PreferredOnly"=dword:00000000 "Record"="Audio Advantage Amigo Device" Sound Mapper Turtle.reg REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Multimedia\Sound Mapper] "Playback"="Audio Advantage Amigo Device" "PreferredOnly"=dword:00000000 "Record"="Audio Advantage Amigo Device" And then here is the export .ini file for a PPro command list that switches between the three output devices on left, middle and right mouse. This particular bar lives on the desktop and looks like an icon. You can do what you want. This command list sets the registry and changes it's icon to match what is set. This will only effect programs that are started after the changes are made. I use it all the time to switch the sound output from my browser. Hope this helps and, as always, YMMV [Sound:Properties] BackBMP = none Format1 = IconSize: 32 Position: Locked Format2 = MaxText: 127 Transparent: 255 Format3 = Flat Text: 255 255 255 TextUnder Tooltips AllVDesks AutoShowBar Format4 = TextCenter BarSize [1] Label = RealTek Tooltip = Realtek/Extigy Icon =C:\WINNT\ICONS\SESSION.ICO,0 LCmd1 = regedit.exe LParam1 = /s "c:\winnt\Reg Snippets\Sound Mapper Realtek.reg" LHow1 = hide LCmd2 = *Format LParam2 = Item item 2 list "Volume" iconfile "C:\WINNT\ICONS\SESSION.ICO" iconnum 0 LCmd3 = *Format LParam3 = Item item 2 list "Volume" text "RealTek" MCmd1 = regedit.exe MParam1 = /s "c:\winnt\Reg Snippets\Sound Mapper Turtle.reg" MHow1 = hide MCmd2 = *Format MParam2 = Item item 2 list "Volume" iconfile "D:\Program Files\Turtle Beach\AudioAdvantageAmigo\TBaa.exe" iconnum 0 MCmd3 = *Format MParam3 = Item item 2 list "Volume" text "Turtle" RCmd1 = regedit.exe RParam1 = /s "c:\winnt\Reg Snippets\Sound Mapper Extigy.reg" RHow1 = hide RCmd2 = *Format RParam2 = Item item 2 list "Volume" iconfile "D:\Program Files\Creative\SBExtigy\USB Mixer\USBMix.exe" iconnum 0 RCmd3 = *Format RParam3 = Item item 2 list "Volume" text "Extigy"
