In the older version, with "Double tap needed for ctrl/alt/shift tap
hotkeys" checked, a hotkey configured for ctrl+tap-caps-lock works as
expected when holding down ctrl and tapping caps lock twice. A hotkey
configured for tap-caps-lock without a modifier also works as expected
when tapping the unmodified caps lock key twice. In addition to
triggering the command, use of the key also changes the caps lock key
state. So with 2 taps, it gets back to original state, but with only
one, the caps lock state has changed after using the hotkey.

In current version, with or without "Double tap needed for
ctrl/alt/shift tap hotkeys" checked, no command gets triggered for
Ctrl+tap-caps-lock-hotkey either with or without actual double
tapping. A plain tap-caps-lock-hotkey with no modifier works as
expected, and as in the old version the actual caps lock key state
is also affected.

The only key setup difference I noticed on the pcf hotkey settings
screen between my old and new was for resetting foreign keyboards
(checked in new, not checked in old). Tried making them the same, but
it made no difference.

Don't worry about it. Maybe there were interactions with other
PowerPro GUI settings that actually try to intercept changes to the
caps lock key state (however I'm not using them, and the same settings
were also available in the old version).

Anybody know how to do it with Keytrap?

Sheri
