Unfortunately increasing the allowed size (even radically) doesn't help. I was aiming to get it with the win plugin, but it doesn't want to work. MiscPlugin works, it gets one string for the whole status bar and separates the panels with commas and tabs. If anybody knows how to get it with the win plugin (with or without sendmessagestr) please let me know. I think unlike other controls getting another program's status bar text is a process-related problem. Thanks, Sheri
