Thanks Bruce, Don't know if there's anything you can do about it, but if I write protect stil32jp.dll before updating, the installer briefly displays an error, and quits without updating the other files. In the past I've sometimes had the pcre libraries write protected during updates without any problem so I thought write protecting stil32jp.dll would be ok. Regards, Sheri
