I posted here a day or so ago about a strange problem with Powerpro
and menu items that consist of web links. I've discovered that while
reinstalling the software fixes the problem, as soon as I restart the
system the problem returns.

With Firefox 3.0.1 I get nothing but a blank browser window. With IE7
I get "cannot display web page" with Microsoft's usual (ahem) helpful
suggestions.

And that's not all.

The browser window continues to be nonfunctional even if I manually
type in an address or select one from my list of bookmarks. Yet, if I
close the browser window and open a fresh one, everything works.

I thought at first that perhaps it was related to one of Microsoft's
Patch Tuesday updates, but the problem didn't appear until yesterday
and Patch Tuesday was almost 2 weeks ago.

For now I'm going to live with having to reinstall Powerpro every
time I start up the computer. I have absolutely no idea where to even
begin looking for the cause of this problem.

PLEASE: if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Cheers,
Tom
