Yes, {slow} seems to work equally well. I only had to change my old
{fast} key sends and updated them all to {sinp} since that was
recommended here, but my old {slow} sends didn't need updating and
still work.

This still doesn't work for me. I'm trying to open a link in a new
window in Firefox by sending CTRL-leftclick when middle-clicking. Only
the au plugin method seems to work there.
