I've got some trouble with a file, which i have downloaded via wget. file.readall only retrieves 3 bytes of this file. Also "file.open, for each and file.close" doesn't work. I happend to detect, that this file is encoded with "UCS-2 Little Endian" - each character is of 2-byte-length, second byte is always X'00'. When i open the file with an editor, copy and paste the contents and create a new file encoded ANSI file.readall works fine.
It seems that file.readall needs a special file-format-encoding. Any help or tip much appreciated. Best regards Detlef
