I needed just the stickies component, as it were, today. And after all these
years of stopping, opening notepad repeatedly whenever I had snippets to copy
and keep for just a very short period of time, and after searching and trialing
yet again several stickie notes programs with none coming close to all that
PPro's offers, I said to hell with it. I ended up creating an entire copy of
my PPro folder and stripping it down to essentials. Then I went in and
stripped the pcf down to only the stickies, too and some basics like
configuring PPro and exit, etc.
Was just wondering if there was an easier way to have done this without running
a separate "instance" of PPro. Perhaps there is a way to run the pcf remotely
or somesuch where it would still be completely independent of the main PPro bar
that I use. That way stickies only part remains independent like having a
separate folder as I do now with its own pcf file for stickies yet it is not a
part of the main PPro use that I have. Though stripped down, the "just notes"
folder is 3.69 megs which is a bit larger than I care for to run just for this
purpose.
The properties of my "powerpro.exe" file says that I have v4.7e.
