ago and have forgotten, but mine is this symbol:

Here's the one for my "Notes" command bar, as a
example for any newbies who
read this some time:
L:   Unhide all notes ...|M:  Hide all notes ...|R: 
Open notes folder
...||(Stickie Notes ...|If you need a new note, just
press Ctrl+Alt+N.)

I never use the "|| for anything and it's easy to
remember.

You use a special character to split the tool tip into
multiple lines. To
see the special character for your pcf file open the
PowerPro configuration
program, select "Command Lists", press "Setup...",
select "All Bars and
Menus", press "Tool tip setup...", and look at "Split
into multi-lines with
this character".

Insert this character into a tool tip where you want a
new line.
