Thanks forxtra, I posted another test version: <http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/power-pro/files/0_TEMP_/NoteMenuUpdates/NoteMenu_204.zip> This one uses utf8/regex for processing double byte code page (if unicode plugin >= version 0067 is available) and your DBSC_StringLeft function (if unicode plugin version is not available). In addition to checking tooltips and labels, also make sure you can open notes from the note menu, and that once open, you can access them from the menu's submenu for currently open notes. If it works, also try notes with maximum long name/captions. Regards, Sheri
